Welcome to Pinholing, the home of point-and-think photography.

Pinhole photography takes us back to the basics. It strips down the complexity of modern digital cameras and brings us back to the core principles of light and time. With just a simple hole in a box, we're able to capture the world around us in a truly unique and fascinating way.

This pinhole photo was taken with a wooden pinhole camera that uses 4x5 sheet film.

And this Pug photo was taken with a camera that uses 35mm film.

While pinhole photography is the oldest form of picture taking, it also helps us take better digital photos. My Point-and-Think Photography talk (available online and in person) explains this. Send me an email at workshop@pinholing.com for more information and availability.
